BENEE’s Particles Tour

Known for her bold fashion looks and danceable pop sound, BENEE is a New Zealand singer-songwriter from Auckland who began writing and recording music at the age of seventeen. She gained international recognition in late 2019 for her hit single, “Supalonely”, which earned a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020. Throughout the next five years following the success of this release, she toured with various talented artists such as Conan Gray, Wallows, and Olivia Rodrigo. In November 2025, BENEE released her sophomore album, “Ur an Angel I’m Just Particles", for which she just wrapped up her US/Canada tour.
Never Mind attended the Particles Tour on March 27th at Scoot Inn in Austin, Texas. BENEE was joined by R&B-pop princess Bayli, who opened the concert with a bang. Wearing a stunning statement dress and enchanting the crowd with songs from her newest EP, “No Re-Entry”, Bayli was bathed in rays from the setting sun accompanied by a genius use of stage lights, making for a visually stunning opening show. And the audience understood the assignment when it came to killer outfits, many sporting bright colors, eccentric makeup, and BENEE’s signature fluffy boots! Good vibes were beaming from every corner.
Shortly after the sun went down, BENEE and her band brought the hype with her dramatic entrance set to the new album’s lead single, “Sad Boiii”, complimented by fog machines with colorful lighting composed of beautiful combinations of purples, greens, pinks, and blues; she served an absolutely gorgeous look with her signature BENEE Boots, patterned tights, a layered skirt, sparkling hair clips, and beautiful makeup. Obsessed! The set continued on with more songs from the new album, including “Cinnamon” and “Vegas”. BENEE charmed the audience with her contagious energy, undeniable whimsy, and radiant vocals for a 19-song-long set. The setlist was complete with a perfect balance of more mellow numbers such as “Heaven”, as well as more upbeat and empowering dance songs including “Princess”.
The atmosphere she created was accepting, powerful, and just pure fun! Near the end of the show, she gave us a beautiful solo rendition of her collaboration with Joji, “Afterthought”, followed by more hits. Ending things off was arguably the most energetic part of the night, a performance of her 2023 single “Green Honda”, covering the entire venue in raving green lights and erupting in a full blown dance party! I carried that energy with me all the way home, a post concert high is certainly a force to
be reckoned with.
The show was such a blast, two extremely talented acts back to back made this night one to remember! Truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
